In any sane world, if the president came out and said “there’s going to be a food shortage” it would cause total chaos and panic, runs on banks, grocery stores, and guns. It’s irresponsible for him to even say that.
But we’re so sick of them pushing the panic button, it’s like we just roll our eyes and say here we go again.
